The CNH do Brasil application represents an advanced evolution of the Digital Traffic Record (CDT), formerly known as the Digital Driver's License (CNH Digital). It provides users with a secure and convenient way to access their digital documents—namely, the National Driver's License (CNH) and Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV)—directly from their mobile devices.

Additionally, individuals who have not yet obtained their driver's license can begin the process of obtaining their first license directly through the app, streamlining the procedural steps and enhancing accessibility.

The Digital CNH and CRLV are legally equivalent digital versions of their printed counterparts, maintaining the same legal validity and recognition.

The digital versions offer several advantages, including increased mobility, practicality, and convenience, such as:

• Easy sharing of information via PDF export with a digital signature adhering to ICP-Brasil standards, providing legal validity in accordance with MP 2.200-2/2001. This feature eliminates the need for printing, scanning, or notarization processes.
• Verification of authenticity, reliability, and integrity can be conveniently conducted using the Vio app. Users simply need to download Vio and scan the QR code on their digital document to validate its legitimacy.
